Pontianak (Antara Kalbar)- A total of 3,112 foreign tourists visited West Kalimantan during October 2017, down 28.33 percent from 4,342 tourists in the previous month.
Nearly 64 percent of the foreign tourists arrived in Supadio international airport in Pontianak, while some 36 percent entered Indonesia through Entikong border gate in Sanggau, Pitono, head of the West Kalimantan statistic office, said here, Wednesday.
During the January-October 2017 period, the province received a total of 32,129 foreign tourist arrivals, up 12.61 percent from 28,530 tourist arrivals in the same period last year.
Hotel occupancy rate in West Kalimantan reached 53.02 percent, up 2.90 percent from 50.12 percent in September 2017.
