Pontianak (Antaranews Kalbar) - Korem 121 / ABW, launched the program of Devotion of Soldiers at the Border (Petasan) in West Kalimantan and among them present in Sambas District in order to improve the education of the area.

"We have launched the Petasan program. We are in addition to maintaining the border area in West Kalimantan through this program can make people moved to help and to improve the education of people in the border region," said Commander of Military (121) ABW, Brig. Gen. Bambang Ismawan when contacted in Sambas, on Friday.

Bambang explained that in the first step people who take apart in the Petasan Program, have just entered the 20 primary schools along the border in West Kalimantan.

"Of course there are still many schools on the border that need touch and participation all of us," he said.

He explained the form of the implementation of the Petasan program by renovating the school buildings that are less feasible.

"In addition, through the Bintara who served on the border will be involved in the teaching process of children on the other hand to be teachers in some schools that still needing the educators," he said.

According to him, building a country from the outskirts is one of the jaws of President Joko Widodo and his side for it is present through this program. 

"We hope that what we do is can help the government wants to provide the education to the nation's children," he explained.

In the future we will continue to innovate and dedicate in order to advance the region, nation and state.

"All people have the task of advancing this nation and of course according to their respective capacities," he said.
