Millitary District Commander1207/BS Pontianak, Colonel (Inf) Ulysses Sodang at Sungai Raya, on Wednesday said the elucidation of the danger of Karhutla is part of TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Regional to 101 Dusun Suko Mulyo, Limbung Village.
"We made karhutla information become a serious concern during TMMD activities in that area, so society is provided by comperhension related to Karhutla effect for surronding environtment," he said.
Moreover, according to him most of Dusun Suko Mulyo land is peatland, so easily burned in summer or drought.
"It is important to give information about the dangers of Karhutla, because Limbung Village is very close to Supadio Pontianak Airport, so if the peatland is burned, it will disrupt flight activity at the airport," he said.
According to Military District Commander 1207/BS Pontianak, in Karhutla elucidation, is more in giving awarness for society in that area for not opened land with burning
The solution, namely the demontration plot program currently being developed by the Peatland Restoration Agency
"We will cooperate with Untan (University of Tanjungpura) in the development of the demonstration plot program, if it successfully developed in clearing peatland," he said.

Meanwhile, related to the realization of the 101th TMMD program in Limbung Village, the Millitary District Commander 1207 / BS also explained that physical and non-physical development program until the 14th day of the running of TMMD has reached 63 persen.
