Putussibau, W Kalimantan, March 25 (Antaranews Kalbar) - A team of police and military personnel has nabbed three Malaysians on charge of carrying illicit drugs in the border areas of Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan.
The three men were picked from a karaoke kafe in the village of Sebindang in sub-district of Badau with two packages of methamphetamine, Kapuas Hulu police chief adj. senior commissioner Imam Riyadi said via telephone here on Sunday.
Imam identified the three men as Ronaldo (18), Bana (27) dan Tabai (18) from Lubuk Antu, Sarawak, eastern Malaysia.
He said police received the tip from local people that the three were consuming alcoholic drink in a kafe.
The three had been brought to local police office for investigation, he said.
Unconfirmed source said the three Malaysians crossed the border to Kapuas Hulu illegally.
