Pontianak, W. Kalimantan, Nov 2 (Antaranews Kalbar) - West Kalimantan recorded Rp4.601 trillion in tax revenues in the first 10 months of the year, up 15.96 percent from the same period last year.

The tax revenue was around 63.09 percent of the target of Rp7.49 trillion set for this year, head of regional office of the Taxation Directorate General Slamet Sutantyo fold reporters at a media gathering in Qubu Resort, on Thursday.

The sectors of trade, and car and motorcycles are the largest contributors to the tax revenues accounting for 24.5 percent, Slamet said.

Noteworthy was the revenue from the trade sector that shot up 27.79 percent indicating brisker people`s economy, he said.
