Gunung Palung National Park (TANAGUPA) initiated the KAYONGKU marketplace application in order to keep the sales of MSMEs in North Kayong Regency (KKU) stable in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The KAYONGKU platform with the Slogan From Us, By Us and For the Kayong Land is an application created and designed by the youngster from the land of Kayong. It is because they saw the problems and difficulties faced by business owners, especially the MSMEs owners in KKU and Ketapang for marketed their products.” Ari M. Wibowo the Head of the Tanagupa Center said in Sukadana, on Wednesday.
According to him, the MSMEs and Business owners can market their products for free, safe, and reliable by using the KAYONGKU application.
“By prioritizing the increasing role of MSMEs in Kayong Land, users of KAYONGKU application especially the sellers are devoted only to MSMEs and Business owner who are domiciled or have businesses in KKU. Nevertheless, the customers can access it from all over Indonesia.“ he said.
Besides to increase the role of business and MSMEs owners in KKU and Ketapang, it was also expected to increase the circulation of money that occurs in the two districts.
“In order to improve the application performance and prioritize the aspect of convenience and security, The KAYONGKU application has obtained a permit from the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia. It was regarded to the Electronic System Operators (PSE) and Trading Business License through Electronic Systems (SIUPSE) which issued from the Government of RI through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system.“ he explained.
KAYONGKU also has collaboration with several national and regional banks such as Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI and Bank Kalbar in the transaction process, as well as partnering with JNE Indonesia as a distribution vendor/courier, he added.
“KAYONGKU is expected to be able to help business and MSMEs owners in KKU and Ketapang Regency to increase their turnover and income,” he explained.
