Pontianak (Antaranews Kalbar) - Heronimus Hero the Chief of West Kalimantan Agriculture of food crops and Horticulture Office expects the graduates of SPP-SPMA (Agriculture School For Development) Singkawang in 2017-2018 can apply their knowledge to help society improve agricultural production in Singkawang and West Kalimantan.
    "So far, there have been 3.500 graduates of SPP-SPMA who have applied their knowledge in Agricultural field. Some have opened agriculture business and directly developing agriculture in their area. Moreover there are also alumni who successfully officiates strategic position such as person in charge of agriculture faculty at Tanjungpura University," Hero said at Pontianak on Tuesday.
    As it is known, SPP-SPMA was form to prepare educated workers to support agriculture in Singkawang and even West Kalimantan, he added.
    Therefore, he put great expectations, for the graduates who just graduated on last Monday, can follow their seniors’ trace and take part in improving agricultural productivity in West Kalimantan.
    As it is known, as many as 150 students of third grade in SMK Negeri 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang were graduate for academic year of 2017-2018 on last Monday.
    "There are 27 students of Agribusiness Ruminant Livestock, 92 students of Agribusiness Plantation Study Program and 31 students of Agribusiness of food crops and Horticulture Program," said Ir Murdiyanto as Headmaster of SMK 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang.
    He said the  education vision of SMKN 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang was the establish of agricultural secondary education institutions that were reliable to produce human resources of agriculture with moral ethics, skilled, ready to work, competitive, dedicated in the ability to collaborate and have entrepreneurial spirit.
    "This leads us as educators to strive all our ability providing educational services that are able to develop the potential of learners, both in terms of knowledge, personality and skills in agriculture," he said.
    Thereby in the mentoring the learners, they are as an educators tries to give exemplary attitudes and good attitude as adult.
    "However in this opportunity I represent the entire education’s staff and personnel of SMK Negeri 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang apologize as much as possible to the parents if there are still shortages in providing education service to the children," he said.
    With the end of the educational process in SMKN 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang also being the end of the cooperation that we established with a strong companionship and kinship all this time.
    "We hope although the children are no longer our responsibility, but it would be better if we are still cooperating with each other to provide useful information to support the development of this school," he asked.
    Based on the results of teacher board meetings and graduation criteria then it be delivered that the graduation results of the 3 study program are 100 percent graduated.
    "And if it seen from the total value of 4 subjects of Computer Based National Examination (UNBK) this year, the highest score for Indonesian subjects is 100.0 on behalf of Tiara Usmahanara," he said.
   The highest score for English subjects with a score of 82.0 on behalf of Muhammad Dzaky Pitrah Pratama, the highest score of Mathematics lesson of 62.5 was achieved by two students with equal value on behalf of Muhammad Renaldi and Nurun Ula Khori'ah.
    "While the subjects Competence with the highest value of 75.0 on behalf of Ahmad Indra Wijaya," he explained.
    With the increase of 150 graduates for the academic year of 2017/2018, the alumni of SMK Negeri 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang totaling 3,587 people until now.
    "We also convey that the results of students of SMK Negeri 4 SPP-SPMA Singkawang received through the National Selection of State University Entrance (SNMPTN) Invitation Path of Tanjungpura University as many as 9 students, Polytechnic Negeri Pontianak (Polnep) as many as 6 students and some are still waiting for the announcement for the SBMPTN," he said.
    While for students who registering in Polytechnic Agriculture Development Yogyakarta as many as 5 students, 5 students in Magelang Ranch, and 2 students in Polytechnic of development Medan.
   "On the other hand, there is exhilarating news that on this day 11 students have been dispatch to participate in training in PT Nusantara Kalimantan Lestari Ketapang engaged in the field of acacia plant," he said.
