Putussibau (Antaranews Kalbar) - Head of Immigration Putussibau Dios said during January to March 2018, the Kapuas Hulu area of West Kalimantan arrived at 2,008 foreign nationals with both passport holders and transboundary postcards (PLB) holders.
"All the foreigners we are watching, both activities and goals," said Dios, when met Antara, at Putussibau Kapuas Hulu West Kalimantan, Monday.
According to Dios, from2,008 foreigners comprise data in January of 668 foreigners, February of 675 and in March as many as 665 foreigners.
He said watching foreigners in the Kapuas Hulu area is a shared responsibility of the role of all parties, including the community.
"Of course we will tighten the supervision for foreigners, but we need the support of all parties with the breadth of Kapuas Hulu because we can’t work alone,” said Dios.
Related to the existence of unofficial roads on the border between Indonesia and Malaysia, Dios said, his side always coordinated with Pamtas from TNI.
He is committed to taking firm action when foreigners violate rules according to the law.
