"Our consortium forms in the framework of synergicity, collaboration and promotion among the tourist travel agencies in West Kalimantan, especially umrah and halal tourism products," said Chairman of West Kalimantan Asita, Nugroho Henray Eka Saputra in Pontianak, Thursday.
Nugroho added presence of the consortium as well as a forum to present travel agency umrah packages and tour packages religious that have good quality.
"Going back to form a consortium is appropriate for travel agencies collaborating," he said.
He continued, this consortium will form a business synergy to develop business among Asita members form cooperative or other. In addition, the second work program is advocacy on business issues both fellow Asita members and with business partners.
"For the time being joined there are seven travel agents who join. Hopefully this presence also as a container of capital and managerial strengthening is good in order to provide the best price and service to our consumers. Especially at this time a lot of illegal umrah travel that harms the community, he explained.
Nugroho said in the consortium it also took the members of the Provider Travel Umrah (PPIU), PT Menara Tanjung experienced experience running the business.
"The consortium formed will be responsible for the implementation of umrah service that gives the congregation's satisfaction not only for profit,"he said.
Henray continued, the most importantly is the presence of the consortium is also trying to counter the rampant illegal cheap travel umrah that deceive consumers.
"Currently there are too many illegal umrah organizers and spread the promise of umrah to the community with the price of only a few million dollars only. Though not known where they get permission and visa umrah. Asita will also socialize to the community about illegal travel umrah," he said.
